Dr GeorgeDOUGLAS(Dinnington) Former GP at Prospect House Medical Group, Occupational Health Physician to the Tyne and Wear Fire Brigade and Doctor to the Newcastle Falcons Rugby Club. Died suddenly on 2nd December 2020, aged 82 years. A dearly loved husband to Anne. A loving dad to Stephen, Paul and Peter. Father-in-law to Kirsten and Jenny and much loved grandad to Rhys, Ben, Jonny, James and Erin. A private funeral service will be held due to current restrictions at West Road Crematorium on Tuesday 29th December 2020 at 2:00pm. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Northumberland Rugby Union Charitable Trust.

Dr Douglas was indeed a lovely and caring Doctor and greatly missed by patients when he left Prospect House.

Dr Douglas was a lovely man, he saw me through my two pregnancies at Prospect House Medical Group. Very caring, with a lovely bedside manner. RIP, and thank you.
